CASTRO BELLO TRAVELS AREAS AFFECTED IN ESCÁRCEGA TO EVALUATE DAMAGES LEFT BY TROPICAL STORM “CRISTÓBAL”

Accompanied by the mayor Rodolfo Bautista Puc, as well as members of the Escárcega City Council and Civil Protection, Castro Bello stressed that the main concern of the State Executive is to redouble efforts and actions that safeguard the lives of families in all municipalities, in this case the people from Cáceres, attend to the population and guarantee that the shelters represent a dignified and safe space.

«The report of damage to both housing, road infrastructure, fields and livestock will be delivered to the governor, which will allow providing help to the population that most needs it at the moment, those who were affected in their heritage and their productive activity, what priority for now is to serve the population, that they are safe, «said the head of SEDESYH.

Highlighting the good coordination between authorities from the three levels of government, Castro Bello began activities on Friday afternoon at the municipal seat, with the mayor visiting families such as Irmida Gutiérrez Puc and Candelario Medina Méndez, ice merchants, whose house has 4 days flooded due to heavy rains. He promised to his drain.

At night, he visited the temporary shelter located in CBTA62, where he heard the victims who were evacuated from their homes and transmitted the message from the State Government that “the families of Escárcega are not alone, we are close to you to support you and they can get ahead, they work for their well-being, ”he said.

At 01:30 hours he arrived at the Municipal Board of the Northern Division and accompanied by its president Gladys Cruz Moo, after verifying the conditions of the place, he spoke with Audentino Gómez and other families about state social programs such as the housing actions that The State Government, through SEDESYH, provides families who need a flat in their homes or an additional room.

Around 03:20 in the morning he arrived in Haro and with his commissioner Antonio Ku Contreras, he toured the community to listen to families who, despite the hour, received him as don Lázaro Pérez Ruiz who talked about the ravages of the storm Cristóbal .

Back at the municipal seat, he supervised the drainage works carried out in the Medina Gutiérrez family home.

On Saturday morning, he resumed activities by moving to the Centennial Municipal Board and together with President María Antonio García Vázquez, he visited the neighbors as Mrs. Carla Medina Moguel, where he gave support from Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González and the System Board of Trustees State DIF, headed by its president Victoria Damas de Aysa, to the affected families.

Subsequently and in view of the urgent report by peasants from communities such as Flor de Chiapas and Benito Juárez on a bridge that collapsed one kilometer from the Municipal Board; Castro Bello and the municipal authorities came to verify the damage caused by kilometer 3.5 of the Centenario-Laguna Grande state highway, which will be part of the rain damage report that will be delivered to the governor.
