Also delivers garbage collectors

CALAKMUL-. With an investment of more than 22.5 million pesos, Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González  put into service 10 water treatment plants in the same number of localities in the region, for the benefit of 3,300 inhabitants, and he delivered the first garbage collector truck of a total of 10 that will be distributed throughout the state.

On the work tour that he made he was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Government, Pedro Armentía López, and the Mayor Luis Felipe Mora Hernández, the governor activated the water purification system in the localities of May 11 and Christopher Columbus, thereby simultaneously it was also launched to installed in  Ricardo Flores Magón, El Carmen II, May 21, El Sacrificio, Pioneers of the Xnohá River, Dos Naciones, Manuel Crescencio Rejón and Dos Lagunas Sur ejidos.

With the start of operations of the water treatment plants, which in total represents an estimated investment of 7.5 million pesos, the current state administration strengthens the strategy of water supply to the inhabitants of this area of the state. Last month, as  recall, he delivered to  Calakmul five new tank pipes to reinforce the liquid distribution service.

Each station has the capacity to purify 1,200 liters of water per day, that is to say 150 liters per hour to fill approximately 75 jugs, and it works with a photovoltaic interconnection system for energy saving, made up of solar panels that through an inverter they inject energy into the CFE lines.

For the purification process it has supply and chlorination systems; filters to remove particles of higher density and smaller sediments; to remove odor, taste and color, as well to remove calcium and remove hardness from water. It also has reverse osmosis systems, ultraviolet light lamps to eliminate bacteria and washing systems of jugs.

Aysa González, who was also accompanied by the Secretary of Social and Human Development, Christian Castro Bello, delivered the first garbage collector truck with a total of 10 that the government will distribute in the municipalities. Each unit had a cost of one million 520 thousand 760 pesos; Its load capacity is five tons and it is equipped with a waste compactor box, ejector press, rear hopper sweeping shovel and a compaction stop and reverse system.

In a short interview, he pointed out that Calakmul is a priority for his government, which is why he has been working in attention of the population’s demand for water and the construction of important infrastructure to boost their growth, such as the fairground, the sports unit and street paving.

«Today we deliver a garbage collector and started 10 water treatment plants that are of vital importance to the people of the communities of the municipality, a few days ago we also delivered five pipes,» he said.

The governor was accompanied by the commander of the 33rd Military Zone, Enrique Dena Salgado; the Secretaries of Administration and Government Innovation, Gustavo Ortiz González; of Health, José Luis González Pinzón, and of Environment, Biodiversity and Climate Change, Ileana Herrera Pérez, as well  the director of the Commission for Potable Water and Sewerage (Capae), Sergio Berzunza Camejo.
