The Governor of the State of Campeche, Carlos Miguel Aysa González; appointed Ricardo Ocampo Fernández as secretary of Economic Development (Sedeco), and urged him to strengthen economic reactivation programs in the state, especially those aimed at supporting the productive sector during the health emergency.

Aysa González recognized Ocampo Fernández’s extensive track record and effectiveness in serving in the state and municipal public service, as well as for her commitment to serving people.

In particular, he appreciated the effort and dedication with which he advocated from the ownership of the Secretariat of Sustainable Energy Development (Sedesu), since he worked until yesterday, so that the CFE reclassified electricity rates in Campeche. «That was a commitment that my government made, and Ocampo Fernández was a determining factor to support the federal authorities with the just demand of the campechanos and achieve this historic fact,» the president acknowledged.

The now secretary of Economic Development has held, among other positions, that of municipal president of Carmen, government secretary, attorney general of State Justice, general director of the Integral Port Administration, head of the State Government Liaison Unit with Pemex and secretary of Social and Regional Development.
