Portfolio of works projects for 2020 approved

Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González installed the Campeche Metropolitan Development Council, which approved the portfolio of infrastructure works projects for fiscal year 2020 that will be registered with federal government agencies, in order to access resources from the Metropolitan Fund.

The act was carried out within the framework of a videoconference with the directors of Metropolitan Linkage of the Ministry of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (Sedatu), Mariana Orozco Camacho, and Analysis and Instruments of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat), Fernando Islas Sosa.

Julio César Vilchis Fuentes, head of the Unit of Programs and Projects of Public Investment, explained that the council whom presides by the governor and is made up of various instances of the state government, as well  authorities from the Sedatu and Semarnat.

After taking the protest to the members of the organization, he explained that the approved projects have a regional and metropolitan development focus to boost the growth of the state.

He said that the installation of the council complies with the provisions of Article 11 of the decree of the Expenditure Budget of the 2020 Federation, which determines that the organization must be formed before the last day of April.

The event was attended by the General Secretaries of the Government, Pedro Armentía López; Social and Human Development, Christian Castro Bello; Finance, Guadalupe Cárdenas Guerrero; Planning, Tirzo García Saldoval, and Urban Development, Public Works and Infrastructure, Edilberto Buenfil Montalvo, as well as the person in charge of the office of the Semarnat delegation, Mario Esquivel Castillo, among other officials.
